Began career as a Graduate Engineer at Wanjohi Consulting Engineers, working on road and building design and supervision projects.
Served as Town Engineer, Kericho Municipal Council.
Appointed National Technical Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), leading key reforms in Kenya’s water and sanitation sector, including socially responsible commercialization now anchored in national water statutes.
Served as Chief Executive Officer of the Athi Water Services Board (2011–2017).
Currently a Partner at Batiment Engineering and Associates (BEA).
Qualifications
- B.Sc (Hons) in Civil Engineering (1984) from the University of Nairobi.
- Corporate Member, Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
- Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
